WEF/CNBC Africa – Inagbire on AI’s economic role (saying AI could contribute ≃6% of GDP)

Rwanda is betting big on the use of AI in leapfrogging it’s economy with forecasts according to the ICT Minister Paula Ingabire showing good use of AI will see the country generate 6 per cent GDP contribution. Speaking while in Davos at the World Economic Forum underway in Switzerland, the Minister exuded confidence in the country’s strategic roadmap towards being a major ICT hub.
