Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Reports Surging Demand for Blackwell Chips

NHSINCHU, Taiwan, Nov 8 (Reuters) – Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huang, announced on Saturday that the company is witnessing exceptionally strong demand for its advanced Blackwell chips, driving increased wafer orders from its manufacturing partner, TSMC (2330.TW).

Huang, speaking at an event hosted by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co in Hsinchu, explained that Nvidia’s Blackwell platform includes not just GPUs (graphics processing units) but also CPUs (central processing units), networking components, and switches—resulting in a large number of chips linked to the Blackwell series.
